Woodfield Country Club has announced a major two phase renovation plan estimated at $23,7 million. [click here] According to Woodfield the Long Range Plan was developed in 2011 and the Woodfield Country Club Renovation was approved by almost two-thirds of the 70% of members who voted in December last year.
Woodfield Country Club Renovation Phase Details
As Woodfield Country Club home sales continue to show an upward trend, its membership has voted in favor of the plan which calls for the construction of a new building poolside for dining, and a new childrens play area. A refresh of the interior in the clubhouse and design overhaul of the restaurants. As part of the first phase, the grill and fine dining areas will be refurbished and two private thirty two seat dining rooms will be added. Expanded card rooms and fitness and workout facility including a larger high end salon venue. The renovation will also feature improvements in the golf area and practicing facilities. Additionally the second phase will include the addition of a lap pool and renovations to the existing swimming pool.
Woodfield Country Club Renovation Status
A preliminary site plan has been presented to the Boca Raton’s Planning and Zoning Board and although a meeting to present the plan to the City’s Community Appearance Board has yet to be scheduled, Eben Molloy, Woodfield Country Club’s General Manager said the Country Cub has, “been working and have met with the city to walk through the plans, and they’ve given us every indication our plan can proceed without any issue.” Architectural plans and timetables are to be finalized this year and construction is expected to begin next year.
