Woodfield is a private equity country club, and when purchasing a home or real estate in the community buyers are required to make an equity contribution in the Club.
There are two types of Woodfield Country Club Membership categories namely Full Equity Membership and Standard Equity Membership. This offers residents different options, as the club recognizes the different lifestyles of its residents.
Woodfield Country Club Full Equity Membership
Full Equity Membership at Woodfield Country Club includes all golf, tennis and social privileges. The full equity contribution required is $45,000 with a $40,000 non refundable initiation fee and annual Woodfield Country Club Membership fees are $22,155. This includes the annual full operating dues of $18,514 annual full capital dues of $2,141 and the mandatory annual cart fee of $1,500. The opportunity to purchase full equity membership is based on availability.
Standard Equity Members at Woodfield Country Club includes tennis and social privileges. The equity buy in for the standard membership is $38,000 with a $40,000 non refundable initiation fee and annual Woodfield Country Club Membership fees are $16,047. This includes both the annual standard operating dues of $13,906 and annual standard capital dues of $2,141. Social privileges do include access to all dining facilities, the fitness center, pool and social activities.
Equity membership at Woodfield Country Club includes the member, the members spouse or single designee and unmarried children under twenty five years of age who live at home or attend school on a full time basis. For children living at home twenty five years and older a Woodfield Country Club Legacy Membership can be purchased.
Woodfield Country Club Equity Refund Upon Sale Of Property
Upon sale of property members who purchased homes: (1) before 8/1/2014 are entitled to an equity refund of 50% of Current Standard Equity Membership Price or (2) on or after 8/1/2014 are entitled to an equity refund of 25% of Current Standard Equity Membership Price.
Other Woodfield Country Club Membership Fees
There is an annual food and beverage minimum spend required of $2,500 per family or $1,250 per single member. While there are additional separate annual fees for taking a locker at the golf, tennis or fitness facility, these locker fees are voluntary.
Please Note: If you are financing your real estate purchase at Woodfield, you will not be able to finance the Woodfield Country Club Membership Equity portion. For example if you are buying a home for $500,000, you will need an additional $78,000 ( $38,000 Equity plus $40,000 Initiation Fee) in cash to purchase the standard membership. You can elect to pay the Annual Woodfield Country Club Membership Fees in full or on a ten month payment plan and there is an option to finance this payment using a credit card. Additional financing and convenience fees will apply.
